Burbach Lodge Social Events 2009-2010

In addition to its formal operation, the Lodge holds many social functions which are greatly enjoyed by not only the members, but also their families and friends. Central to the social side of every Masonic Lodge is the “Ladies Night”. This generally takes the form of a formal social evening dinner and dance with the Ladies, and in particular, the Lady of the Master of the Lodge being the guest of the evening. Burbach Lodge, in common with a number of other Lodges has frequently combined this splendid occasion with a weekend away at a hotel. In recent years this has included destinations such as Bournemouth, Lymington, Torquay, Chepstow, Winchester and Buxton.

Our social events for this year have now been arranged and they promise to be great events for our members, families and friends. For full details of any event please contact our Senior Steward, robert Packer.

This year the Lodge again choose a weekend away to celebrate it's traditional Ladies Night.
The Elmers Court Hotel In Lymington was a new venue for us and proved to be very popular with the members and their families who travelled down for the weekend.

Avery succesful skittles evening was held at the beginning of February at the Wolvey Bowls Club. Over eighty members, their families and guests enjoyed an evening of fun including a fish & chip supper. Proceeds from the event being added to the Mastesr's Charity.
